Fifteenth Thursday after
Pentecost
O Lord, Maker of the
Universe, who alone has power over the seasons and times, bless this year
with your bounty. Preserve our country in safety. Keep your people in peace.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, save us.

Galatians 3:25-29 - Now that faith has come, we are no longer under
a custodian; for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there
is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if
you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to
promise. |

Mark 6:38-44 – [Jesus] said to [his disciples], "How many loaves
have you? Go and see." And when they had found out, they said, "Five,
and two fish." Then he commanded them all to sit down by companies upon
the green grass. So they sat down in groups, by hundreds and by fifties.
And taking the five loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven, and
blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to set
before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. And they
all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of
broken pieces and of the fish. And those who ate the loaves were five
thousand men..
