St. Innocent Orthodox Church

This is my fathers church in Macon, Ga. Very pretty little church that was built pretty recently. That also is my little boy crawling around investigating.

I'll have to try to make it down there sometime! I'm pleasantly surprised there are no pews.

Lovely church, thanks for posting the pictures.

Many years,

It's nice to see that they opted for true Georgian architecture! smile

And it's cool to see a tetrapod in a newer OCA parish not in the Northeast.

Very, very pretty church--BOTH inside and out.

My eyes not being what they once were (and I am not old either!!!)...when I glanced at the photo with your son, and before enlarging it, I thought 'hmmm...who is that on the floor doing a really full prostration'!!! LOL! smile

I've driven by it as a detour on one of my trip's to South Georgia to the inlaws.

It's a beautiful building on the outside - and these pictures confirm it's just as lovely on the inside.

It's a little squirrelly to get to, having to get off on old-41 there in Bolinbroke and have to juggle around those railroad tracks.
