My wife's handiwork. She learned the patterning from her Baba who came to America from Becherov, Saris County, Slovakia after the first world war. She donates a cover every year during Lent for the Church to raffle off at the final Lenten Pirohi Sale.

Was excited to see this. Our newly opened Carpatho-Rusyn Heritage Museum in Parma OH is doing its first Easter Traditions display. We are exhibiting paskas and recipes, pysanky and Easter basket coverings. We are on a mission to find truly authenic Rusyn Easter basket coverings with designs from our ancestors. I would love to display this in our museum. If your wife would give us permission to show a picture with the comments or put one on loan in our museum until Palm Sunday, we would love to display it. It is truly a gem! A special Easter Traditions event will take place on March 21st.

DMD,

Actually, it's not that. PMs aren't enabled on new posters until they reach a certain number of posts or have been members for a certain length of time, as a protection against spammers and other problem folk who register.

Many years,

Neil

DMD,

I was wondering if I was able to purchase an Easter cover. I have looked at this picture many times and think it's beautiful! I haven't been able to find anything quite like it. My husband just came home from Iraq and able to celebrate Easter together this year along with our 11 month old son. It would be a wonderful family treasure. I am not allowed to send a PM because I am new to this forum.

Thank you for your consideration,

V/R

Leigh Ann

Hello,

I'm not sure if you remember me, we emailed back and forth a few times last year. I tried emailing you again, but it kept returning my email. I was wondering if your wife was still interested in selling the Easter Basket covers. You can reach me here or at my email.

Thank you,

Leigh Ann
