A truly unique icon screen. HG is the home of Fr. John Slivka, the last married priest ordained by Bishop Takach before the Celibacy Decree was issued. As a historian, he was also the modern equivalent of Venerable Bede, chronicling the history of the early Greek Catholic Church in America.

Copies of these 2 photos were recently provided to illustrate the parish's Directory entry, through the efforts of Deacon Robert and his wife, and with the kind approval of Msgr John (Sekellick).

A very, very beautiful iconostasis.

Many years,

Neil
