John Slivka, the last married priest ordained by Bishop Takach before the Celibacy Decree was issued. As a historian, he was also the modern equivalent of Venerable Bede, chronicling the history of the early Greek Catholic Church in America.

A very, very beautiful iconostasis. Many years, Neil _________________________ "One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."
