Description
On the way home today from our anniversary trip up the coast my husband and I stopped at Ft Ross cemetery to pray for the reposed, especially for +Fr. Serge.

The weather was very gray and light rain as we arrived. Once we began to pray the sun came out and it became quite glorious. smile

We noted a number of the crosses have been replaced with new ones since we were there on the 4th of July for the Panikhida. The State Park itself was closed, but the cemetery has no fences to keep one out. With severe cut backs in our State Parks, it is only the very faithful diligence of the Friends of Fort Ross which is keeping the Park open still on the weekends. I'm very grateful to see that they are tending to this important cemetery.
