Kirill who sent these to me was present at Feast of St. Stephen at the OCA parish I go to for some feasts etc. My Spanish is quite lacking after many decades of not using it. But I made a sincere effort to talk with him after, through an interpreter, he told the group during lunch that the Orthodox and his parish in Mexico are experiencing "persecution". I wanted to learn what that was and thus far our conversations haven't gotten to that information.

He very thoughtfully sent me these pictures yesterday of their Nativity DL Jan 7, 2012.

Whatever their situation there, I'm sure they can use prayers of support. Once I know anything about any persecutions I will post it.
