The Walk for Life West Coast was moved to a new location this year-- Civic Center directly in front of City Hall. We've outgrown our previous location at Justin Herman Plaza. That also meant our Walk route changed putting us walking down Market Street, the main street through downtown SF. The route was only about half the length of our previous route but clearly very high visibility. Not that that mattered for local news which gave no cover on one channel and minimal coverage on the three other channels, after major stories about mud at Candlestick Park and a beer shortage last year for the game...
