On Sunday June 3, Metropolitan William awarded Boy Scouts of the Archeparchy Light is Life and Pope Pius XII religious emblems.

Congratulations to the scouts, particularly the two handsome youths whom I presume are the sons of our friend and brother, Deacon Lance (of whom it's nice to see a photo biggrin ).

Deacons Lance and Tim are officially in charge of the Archeparchial Scouting Office. I don't know the official title.

This is an example of how our deacons are broadening our outreach and enriching the religious life of our Church.

May God grant them many years!

Just a small correction: Fr Deacon Tim is head of the Office of Youngs Adults. Fr Deacon Luke Crawford assists me with the Archeparchial Committee on Scouting.
