Not that I know of - I don't think that the pious monks of the Holy Mountain would allow it, given their general view of anything Western!
Benjamin Andersen I see your point. But I will be more optimistic. The holy fathers are under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch and His Holiness does not share their animus for "all things Western." I am sure that with the cooperative efforts of both the EP and Antioch such a miracle can be "arranged." FG

Dear Benjamin,
Thank you for that information and if you would be so kind as to share, even privately, the prices and address, I would be in your debt even more!
I've attended Western Rite Orthodox conferences and greatly admire you.
What I admire most is your great education in all things both Orthodox and Western.
(I just adore Fr. Schneirla and his feistiness!)
I remember how welcoming the Western Rite Orthodox were.
Present at one meeting were several Roman Catholics about to join Western Rite Orthodoxy, a number of Anglicans upset by the consecration of a woman bishop in their area, several Old Catholics and Old Roman Catholics, three Lutherans, a number of Methodists and one Eastern Orthodox Priest who was "defecting" to the West . . .
This is also where I first heard about St Mark's, your parish, and about how much it served as a beacon for Western Rite Orthodoxy.
Do you know Fr. Stephen Walinski? A great man, deeply pious and we had a memorable luncheon talk together when we finally met at the conference in Toronto after years of correspondence.

Dear Alex,
Thank you for your kind words about our little Western Rite community. Being right in the thick of it does not allow one to step back and see the good points very often. I appreciate your encouraging words.
Fr. Schneirla is a wonderful man, full of feistiness and a wealth of knowledge. He regards Catholic - Orthodox dialogue as of the utmost importance.
Which WR Conferences were you at? The last was held in Oklahoma City, and the next (I understand) will be held in Florida.
I do indeed know Fr. Walinski, who is as you say a very pious and enthusiastic man. I believe that his parish in Omaha is doing quite well.
