It seems that 2 years ago, the Catholic League joined forces with the Council on American Islamic Relations in attacking the Second
Amendment rights of an Eastern Orthodox Christian believer.

James George Jatras is an Orthodox Christian and a foreign policy analyst with the Senate Republican Policy Committee. He had written an article for the The Christian Activist.

It seems that the Council resented Mr. Jatras' theological opinions and attempted to silence him. The League joined the Council in petitioning Senator James Craig to sack Mr. Jatras.

To his credit, the Senator resisted the heavyhanded tactics of both organisations.

The pagan origins of Yahweh/Yah/Ugarit and the evolution of the monotheistic concept shared by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

(God does not evolve since God's nature is immutable. But as God reveals His true nature to us through ongoing revelation, our understanding of God certainly does evolve.)
