Rich,
Can't one Phoenician (by way of Chandler) ask a friendly question in jest to a fellow Phoenician (by way of Scottsdale) w/o it being interpreted as an expression of assanine juvenille behavior?
In other words: Dude, chill out, I was kidding, and I think John knows that. I just wanted to know if any of the pics of our two performances were going to end up there on the Pro-Cathedral's website.
But, having seen some of the pics that were taken this morning at our potluck for His Grace Bishop William after Divine Liturgy at St. Melany's this morning, I think it's fortunate that none of them did make it onto the 'net. Although the ones of the children looked pretty good.
Yours in the Theotokos,
Darrenn

Why such cheap metallic vestment material and "Uniate-Style" sewn omophor? Once again it's the Melkite bishops who truely look like Eastern Christian Hierarchs! X.B.! B.B.! Ung-Certez

Originally posted by Daniil: You are right! In the group picture from Wednesday, April 24, the bishop is the only one with a collapseable mitre. They are not cheaper and definately not nicer.
But I guess that is not the most important part of our faith...probably the least important. Let us be like the wise maidens, and not be caught worrying over mitres...let's just buy get nice ones to begin with!
Daniil Daniil, Esthetics aside,I did not realize that you were in Phoenix and sat on the bishop's mitre, because when I handed it to him prior to the Liturgy it was not collapseable.
