Someone of you out there read either the KJV, NIV, Or the many other English Bible Translations. What would you do if there were no Bible in English? This is what ABT is trying to accomplish for my people. We are working hard to translate the Scriptures into modern conversational language for both dialects to understand. Yet, many people have put us down saying that we are evangelizing. Well, does not God's word accomplish the work of Evangelization (Romans 10:17). There are many Assyrians and Chaldeans who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ in their own mother tongue, thus falling into Islam.

I pose this question to all.

Joel

Dear Joel,

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is ABT?

Thank you.

A more complete and accurate definition would be:

Aramaic Bible Translation is an Evangelical Protestant mission organization devoted to translating the scriptures into all Aramaic dialects (languages).

Before this gets out of hand, I am closing the thread down now.
