I thought this would be something cute for past and present ByzanTEENs to share their experiences. FOr example:

YOu know you're a ByzanTEEN when... you made the sign of the cross different than everyone else in your Roman Catholic gradeschool and when the teacher told you you were wrong you had a 15 minute convo with her about why you were right.

You know you are a ByzanTEEN when... You are on the Christmas retreat and decide it would be awesome to stay up until 4 a.m. singing things like the akathist and moleben to the Virgin Mary and then decide to sleep inside of church(even though it is freezing in there) and sleep under the huge icon of Christ and listen to chior music!

How about when you enter a movie theater and upon seeing all the "pews" you unconsciously make the sign of the cross.

(they laughed at me for a while when I did this one)

How about when you are leaving (or entering) the church and several little old ladies start gossiping about how you are leaving(I say the sign of the cross four times).

I had that happen in a Roman Parish, as well as a Ukrainian Catholic parish.
