A movement has been undertaken that the ByzanTEENs and Young Adults of America join together on October 30, 2002 for a national day of Prayer and Fasting. This day of prayer has been called by the young on occassion of the first meeting of the Inter-Eparchial Youth Commission since ByzanTEEN Youth Rally 2002 and World Youth Day 2002. These two events of this past summer have shown an amazing insurgence of the teens and young adults in our church, all of whom are truly dedicated to mother church and the greater glory of God, having truly felt the movings of the Holy Spirit. It is our hope that at this meeting a firm future for teenage ministry as well as new efforts in young adult ministry will emerge for our Byzantine Catholic Church of America. Many new and amazing possibilities await our church via the youth in conjunction with rest of the church, we need but plant the seeds. All are welcome to join is in this national day of prayer and fasting on Wednesday, October 30.
