I live next to Mount Saint mary's this is unbelievable! First a The Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church in 2000 and now a BYZANTeen Youth Rally in 2006! I can see the basilica from my window every day! a world youth conference here and now?! how did this happen? what can I do to help?

Arizona here! I'm bringing 10 teens with me -- spending 3 days before the rally in Baltimore and DC. Anybody want to share their favorite things to do in the area, or pitfalls to avoid?

Nathan, you will be in our prayers! Can't your church help out with your expenses for the rally? I know if you mention it to your priest, he will find a way! (GCU? Knights of Columbus? Ladies or Men's Guild? generous parishioner?) Here in Arizona we have been fundraising since the rally in California 2 years ago because we also have to cover airfare.

The international defination of youth is to the age of 25yrs. If you are lucky to pass for younger than you are (a curse while you are in fact young but quiet nice when you are older. As one who knows  ) you might just help fill out the numbers. ICXC NIKA

I was responding to the bolded section which said that you must be a member of a Byzantine parish(I want to be a member of a Byzantine parish).

I belive at the 2002 rally there were Ukrainian Catholic teens from Illinois (I think that was the state) that came by bus. Talk with Father Tom or someone from his staff.
