In your charity please pray for my daughter Shannon who is at the Antiochian village in Ligonier PA for 2 weeks with Metropolitan PHILIP and the Bishops and Priests of our Archdiocese. I have never even seen the Metropolitan!!!! I can not believe what a wonderful place it is!!! If you want to see their webpage and pictures go to http://www.antiochianvillage.org Thanks, Michael

Dear Michael, You are very sweet, and very blessed to be so close to your daughter...but as you know, love means letting go sometimes. Pray for God's protection for her daily and she will be just fine...what better hands could she be in than your very own Metropolitan Phillip? (I remember the year that my then 14 year old son attended our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese's camp, Ionian Village in Greece, and how nervous I was that he was flying overseas without me and my husband, until we saw that coincidentally, our Archbishop Iakovos was on the very same flight...I knew then, that was a sign, that he would be safe and that the flight would be fine! ) In Christ, Alice

The Antiochean Village is truly a wonderful place. We were blessed to have been able to enjoy the retreats there while my husband was a deacon canidate. Now that he's a deacon, we have not had a retreat there. But may someday soon. Oh and don't worry about her not eating well. Oh my! They have a resident chef, such wonderful food. Fond memories indeed! Pani Rose
