As you know I was in Lourdes this week but though I had hoped for time with Father Peter - this didn't happen.

He has been hit with some foul 'bug' which laid him very low - and it's now settled in his lungs. At last he has been 'persuaded' to go onto antibiotics but it's going to be a slow recovery - he is rather impatient but had to give in this time , spending most of the day in bed and coughing most of the night so he could not sleep.

Please keep him in your prayers - I don't think he has had a day off since the Lourdes season started this year .

Anhelyna,

I'm very sorry to hear this. I will light a candle at Nicholai-do and the shrine of St. Nicholas of Japan for Father Peter tomorrow.

Peace,

Gordo

Prayers for Father Peter and for his health and recovery. May our Lord God bless and return him to the full and active ministry of His Holy Church.

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus is Lord! Jesus we thank you for this awesome man of God who has led so many to do exactly that. Now in your name Jesus heal Fr. Peter according to your riches in glory...

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....

prayers and votive lamp before the Holy Icon and relics of St. Nicholas of Bari for your SF. May the Lord and His Saints grant him swift and complete healing as well as a most fruitful ministry to the pilgrims at Lourdes.
Blessings! Silouan, monk
