I just received a prayer request from someone who wishes no name to be used, but who went into a diabetic coma this past week. She has been recovering, but suffers from what I think is a more severe and unusual type of adult diabetes - I don't remember the name of it.

Thank you, generous souls of our parish!

Dear Cof S,

Of course we will pray for your friend.

The unstable form of diabetes is most trying to the sufferer - they need extra help through prayer - and this I give.

I pray that the Holy Archangel Raphael will bring God's healing to her!

Dear friends (posters and non-posting pray-ers) --
I received an email letter from the friend who asked me to pray for her diabetic sister.

She asked me to thank all of you for your prayers and support, and that her sister is doing much better, is at home resting now (she had been hospitalized ). Has to get those insulin levels regulated.

She VERY much appreciates your prayers.

Just wanted to update y'all with the good news.

In Christ,
cs

May our diabetic brothers and sisters be sustained in their struggle to maintain good health! May we find healing.
