Dear Friends,

I offer prayers of thanksgiving for a safe journey my wife and I had during our Caribbean cruise.

We learned on our last day on board that, on the day of our departure, five security officers were arrested on the dock who, as it turned out, had falsified papers and were about to board our ship . . .

Dear Alex,

Thanks for coming back! I'm sure it was tempting to stay down there, especially at this time of year.

I'm glad the bad guys got caught. I guess you now have another story to tell. I trust you did not encounter those illnesses that were spreading on the cruise ships a few months back.

Glory to the maker of all that is seen and unseen!

Dear Alex:

That's what you think! wink

But, welcome back. It must have been exceptionally sweet to enjoy and to experience your 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th?) honeymoon, judging from your euphoric account of the cruise.

Do they serve tonic H2O down there? A ray of sunshine is, indeed, therapeutic to one's mind, body, and soul, especially for Freezelanders like us.

And a hard massage to boot! (However, don't tell me he was a masseur and not a masseuse. biggrin )

Your immediate return to this Forum always adds spice to the recipes served by the Administrator and Moderators for discussions, which were, while you were gone a-sailing, as amiable and amicable as always.

Cheers!

Dear Amado,

The people serving us belonged to 18 different nationalities and I loved greeting them in their languages.

We celebrated my birthday while on board last week and five came up with a cake my wife had planned.

We all hugged and we exchanged multilingual greetings.

My new Indonesian word for "Thank you" is: "Tarima Kasi!"

Mabuhay Ang Filipinas!

I'm so glad you're back safe, Alex!

BTW, I saw on another thread that you spent 2 days in Ft.Lauderdale...next time you're in Ft. Lauderdale, you must stop by to say hello!

God Bless,

Janka smile

Dear Janka,

Thank you!

We were only transferring to our cruise ship that set sail from Ft. Lauderdale, sans the five "security guards," thankfully, who were arrested before they boarded . . .

This was one of a number of times that we were saved, by a thread, from what could have turned out to be a catastrophe.

The whole experience filled me with awe and dread as well as with an abiding sense of God's Divine Protection over us.

God bless!

Alex
