Dear friends, I spoke with the local Ukrainian Catholic priest tonight about my situation. He wants to contact the bishop about me and then we will talk about what I need to do. It is always a pleasure to read and ponder your postings. I agree with you that the emphasis on the Triune God is made very explicit in the theology, the liturgical life and practices of the Byzantine Churches. Knowing your practice of expressing the truth clearly and forthrightly, my attention was caught by what I believe is a misstatement of your meaning.

It is with great respect that I repost the sentence in question: "We stand alone among all the churches in worshipping the Trinity, all Three Persons, or a 'social conception' of the Divinity." ISTM that these words can lead to a mis-interpretation about the theology, liturgical life, and practices of all of the other Churches with which the Byzantine Churches are in communion.

A reader might intrepret that to mean the the rest of the Churches don't worship the "Trinity, all Three Persons, or a 'social conception' of the Divinity." I am sure that this mis-interpretation is not what you meant convey.

Along with you, we do worship and live the mystery of the Life of the One Triune God as members of the Body of Christ! I know that you know this. I post only for clarification.

Please do not let the written expression impede the meaning!
