Dear Friends, I've managed to injure my right leg and am experiencing terrible pain which will be dealt with over the next few days. I ask for your prayers for healing and for patience for me. It seems I have a low threshold for such pain - I really don't like it. I should be grateful, after all. Often, in discussions here, I don't have a single leg to stand on Thanks, Alex

Dear Friends, I not only wanted to thank you all for your prayers, but also wanted to report what just might be a small miracle. Last night, the pain got so bad I went to my knees. I accepted the pain and asked God to help me endure for as long as He willed. As I was getting up, I felt a "click" in the painful leg. When I stood up, I realized the pain was COMPLETELY gone. I could walk up stairs and walk period without limping. Last night was the first night in a while that I could sleep right through without being awakened by pain. I thank God who, by your prayers, has taken me out of the pit of despair and pain. My father-in-law is still mesmerized by the whole thing. The change was so rapid and final that I was completely overwhelmed. That's the last time I'll ever consider kneeling to be a Latinization! God bless you all! Alex p.s., Thank you Orthoman! I would rather be a "servant of God" than anything else any day! [ 06-06-2002: Message edited by: Orthodox Catholic ]

Alex, Be assured of my prayers as I know what you are experiencing. I tore my ACL(terribly painful)a few months ago. I need surgery, which I have been delaying because of work. I'll pray for your leg and you pray for my knee. How is that? Columcille

ColumcilleYou KNEEd prayer, you got it. Glad to hear of Alex's witness to the power of God. I thank God that I can kneel, I know people who can't. John Pilgrim and Odd Duck
