To all our friends who celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend - let us truly be prayerfully thankful for all God has given us and for all God will give to us as our good Father and Lord.

As the Loyalist pioneers used to cry,

Huzzah!

Alex,

Does Thanksgiving in Canada include the great North American sacramental of TURKEY DINNER and FOOTBALL? biggrin

I'll remember you and all Canadians in prayer throughout the weekend. May God grant you many years!

Dearest Administrator!

Yes, it's turkey dinner all the way!

Although I daresay this year we had Jambalaya in between breaks during painting sessions at the new place.

But as long as there's cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie . . .

I understand that when our American friends have had their fill of turkey at your Thanksgiving at the end of November, you often prefer something else for Christmas (?).

In either event, it is all truly "for the birds."

God bless you and all Americans on Columbus Day (Venerable Christopher Columbus, that is).

Dear Mark,

As long as it's not too sweet!

As a diabetic, I'm already sweet enough . . .

Thanks, I will relish it . . .
