I don't know what happened earlier, but the though of you're leaving the forum is a great and upsetting shock. Please take your time. You have many friends here who value your presence, the educating you do through your wonderful posts and your good humour. Please think twice and do not act rashly.

Don't go! We all go through times where we have to reconnect and take breaks from being on the Forum. That is good and healthy. But please, DON"T leave completely. I enjoy your posts very much and even the ribbing you give me CONSTANTLY )

One of the best witnesses we as Christians can give to the secular world is to apologize to one another and then to forgive one another. If we were sitting across the table and having a heated argument we would apologize and then forgive.

In this wonderful cyberspace community, the only way we can apologize is by typing a message. And the only way we can extend forgiveness is by typing a message. THAT IS OUR WITNESS TO THE WORLD.

I don't know what happened, and I don't care to go back and reread whatever happened. But I extend a re-welcoming hand -- COME BACK, ALEX!!

We have to forgive each other. We have to accept others' forgiveness.

Perhaps somebody who knows Alex can relay all the messages. Don't leave. And for sure don't leave like this!! :rolleyes:

Our Lord said we should forgive 7 times 70 times -- about 490 times. We are all followers of Jesus Christ. We should forgive and we should accept others' forgiveness.

As we prepare to observe Lent, let's try to make this a very holy Lent. Planet Earth needs it.

As you know, His Beatitude is still in this country, and I shall seek him out and report you directly to him if you shuffle off here and abandon us! I am sure he shall excommunicate you at once and probably report you to the Pope of Rome for additional flogging or whatever left-overs from the Inquistion the Apostolic Penitentiary has in its cells in the basement of its building on Via Della Crya 2 Ya Droppa.

Why not save yourself, and us, the grief, and remain here a while with us?

Why are you so hard on yourself? If you have made amends with this person let it go. Do what I do I when I'm snippy or mean to someone. Make a sincerely apology,do something to make up for being snippy or mean and blame it on an episode of low blood sugar. Oh and prayers for Alex and all posters & luckers on the forum.

Dear Lord,

Please help us all, Alex and the rest of us posters and lurkers, to realize that we are sinners who behave in ways so that we have the need to repent. Grant us the courage and humility to accept Your forgiveness and that of our brothers and sisters. In this, let us give witness to our real need for the gift of Your repentence and Your forgiveness.

Grant that each of us in this cyber community accepts the others, warts and all. Then lead us to recognize You in eachother.

Help us to give of our knowledge and caring and strength so that we can help each other to meet You and to learn of You. Help us to see You and Your working out of Salvation in all of your Churches and their wonders.

Help us to help each other through life's rough patches.

Please help Alex and the others who experienced upset and anger here today during this time of unhappiness. Grant them Your peace.

Lord, lead Alex to see what many of us see in him; You working to teach us here using his knowledge and humor as well as his "Slavic" intensity. You know that we need the laughs as well as the teaching!

Grant that he see the same in the rest of us. Guide him to choose to continue to learn of Christian Life and Christian Spirit here, with us, as a member of this people whom You have called together in this new way.

Grant to us that Alex reach 10,000 posts before he decides to leave us. He has 7863 posts so teach him forebearance and perserverence to sustain him in his effort. :rolleyes:

Many of us are just beginning our spiritual journeys and stumbling along. Finding this great forum and you within has made it easier for me and countless others. You have been a major contributor to the work here and for that you are appreciated. We have a great big family here and things happen, so pick yourself up and brush off that dust and carry on.
