Glory to Jesus Christ ! Let us remember the Uniontown pilgrims. May the Most Holy Theotokos of Perpetual Help extend her protective veil over them. May she mercifully hear their heartfelt petitions and gently carry them to her son, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us also remember Pope Pius XI who gave this ikon to the Carpatho-Rusyn immigrants of America, so distant from their ikon of the weeping Theotokos in Mariapocs, Hungary. Eternal memory !
