Christ is risen ! Indeed, He is risen ! Your prayers are asked on behalf of the pilgrims who will gather at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Van Nuys, CA on Saturday May 20. Please pray that we will have a safe journey and that we will grow closer to union with Christ.

Christ is risen ! Indeed, He is risen ! Thank you so much for your prayers. Priests and pilgrims came from 7 parishes. The priests heard confessions. Several of the pilgrims prayed their Byzantine Rosaries as part of their penances. We were anointed and then we celebrated Divine Liturgy. At the close of the Divine Liturgy we prayed for our hierarchs and offered an "Our Father" and a "Hail Mary" for the intentions of the Holy Father so that we all might gain the Jubilee Year Plenary Indulgence. Finally we all had dinner. There is a great restoration of Orthodox Spirituality in the Van Nuys Eparchy !
