Prayers for our beloved friend, brother, and spiritual father, Father Anthony, who broke his leg in a fall a day and a half ago, and is currently posting from his bed. May his healing be quick and uneventful and may God grant him many years.

Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, Who have sent Your only-begotten Son and our Lord Jesus Christ to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your servant Priest Monk Anthony from all physical and spiritual ailments through the grace of Your Christ. Grant him patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your word to pray for each other that we may be healed. I pray, heal Your servant Priest Monk Anthony and grant to him the gift of complete health. For You are the source of healing and to You I give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your servant Priest Monk Anthony and cure him of every sickness of which he is grieved; and send down upon him Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to him health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

I'm so sorry to hear about your broken leg, Father! Prayers for your quick recovery...I'm sure it must be difficult for you to be bedridden. I will offer prayers and light a candle for you this weekend at Holy Resurrection in Tokyo. Saint Nicholas of Tokyo, pray for Father Anthony! Gordo

Lord Jesus Christ, our True God, You came to earth to show us the way to the Father. You established Your Holy Church on Your Holy Apostles and through them and their successors You provided a way for all men to find a knowledge of the Truth You came to reveal. Through Your Holy Church You have given the Holy Spirit in a special way through the grace of ordination to certain men for the benefit of those around them, to be their spiritual fathers, pastors, and teachers.
Bless Father Anthony whom You have caused to be in our lives. I see Your Providential Hand in placing him here at this time and place and I thank You for his witness to You and his example to those he serves. Bless Father Anthony at this time and throughout his pilgrimage for his generosity in answering Your Call to do the work that he does for Your Honor and Glory. Nourish him with all the means You have established in Your Holy Church so that he may continue to be a blessing from You to others. Grant him a place at the table in Your Heavenly Kingdom, at Your Wedding Feast, at the end of his pilgrimage.
At this time in his pilgrimage grant him patience as he heals from his broken leg. Grant that his pain and suffering may be nailed to Your Cross and become a spiritual treasure for himself, for those in his spiritual care, and for all of us who care for him.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, Lord, save Father Anthony and grant him healing. AMEN.
Holy Mother of God, spread your Protecting Veil over Father Anthony and intercede with Your Son and Our God for him always now and forever. AMEN.

Lord, grant to Father Anthony a rapid return of his health that he may return to his family in peace to praise Your Holy Name all the days of his life and finally, at the end of his pilgrimage, attain unto the unity of the Faith and even unto Thee Who are Our God, for unto You are due all glory, honor, and worship, to the Father, and to the son, and to Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. AMEN.
Lord, we need faithful priests to serve us, Your People. Heal Your servant, Anthony, called to be configured to You in the priesthood, so that he may return to nourish the portion of Your flock entrusted to Him, with Your Holy Body and Most Precious Blood. AMEN.
