Lord Jesus, You loved your holy apostles so much that You gave them a perpetual way to make You present not only to and for themselves, but for all faithful believers in every age who come to be nourished by their successors.

Bless us all who come to You, unworthy as we are, to have You absorb Yourself into every fiber of our beings. Bless us to go forth from the Liturgy today, and every time we come, to be Your Eyes to seek out, Your Ears to listen, Your Voice to encourage, Your Hands to work, Your Arms to embrace, and Your Legs to carry Your Presence wherever You need it to be.

Let each of us be the kind of example You want us to be for those around us, help us to love You always above everything, show us Your kindness again and again, grant us a spirit of true repentance, keep us close to You always, and then do with us what You and Our Father will.

Thank You for this tremendous Gift of Yourself that we only partially understand. Keep us always in awe of this Mystery whereby You are always with us from the first time you come to us, to the end of our earthly lives, and to the end of this age, as You promised Your holy apostles. AMEN.

May each of you, my brothers and sisters, experience this tremendous Mystery this day and all days, gaining a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Who comes to us for that purpose in and through His Holy Church. May this year see each of you closer to Him who wishes to embrace each of the us whom He has created.

Thanks to the time difference thing I am ahead of most of you.

I have returned from our Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper, whe we celebrate Christ's Gift of the Eucharist to us.

Now we will accompany Him on his journey to Calvary.

Will you watch and Pray with Him - for even one hour ?

While the glorious disciples were enlightened at the washing of their feet at the supper, the unholy Judas wsa blinded by his love for silver. He delivered You to unjust judges, O most high Judge. All you lovers of riches, meditate on this: Love for money drove a man to take his own life. We must flee from greedy souls who would so betray the Master. O Lord, so benevolent to all, glory to You.

Let me this day, O Son of God, be a partaker of your mystical supper; for I will not reveal your Mysteries to your enemies, not will I betray you with a kiss as did Judas, but like the theif I openly profess You: Remember me, O Lord, in your kingdom.

From Orthros of Great and Holy Thursday and Friday (Tone 8) and the latter instead of the Cherubic Hymn, We have seen, and May our lips for the Liturgy of St Basil (Tone 6).
