If there is one bad trait I have is pride, however, my spirit has been weakening, my 28 year old son has relasped into drugs again and will not cooperate. My 91 year old mother is nearing the end of her days and is bedridden.

Please pray for a up lifting and renewal of spiritual strength.

(Note on the above: This is a variation of the petitionary prayer I usually recite in English after venerating the ikon of St. John the Wonderworker, before which I read two prayers to this holy saint and after which I anoint my forehead with holy oil from his tomb. Naturally, I use St. Timothy the Apostle as my patron, and include St. Anna the mother of the Theotokos as the "patroness of my parish church", and sometimes vary in including the other saints I mentioned above.)
