Just wanted to offer my prayers for all the intentions - posted and unposted - of the Forum members, and to ask you to pray for me as well.

I chose the handle "Byzantinemo" out of a desire to remain anonymous. It is pronounced biz-AN-ti-NEE-mo, an for those Latin and Jules Verne mavens out there is a combination of 'Byzantine' and 'nemo' (Latin for 'no man'). The reason(s) for my desire to remain anonymous should become apparent the next time I post on the Forum but, for now, it's back to work time!

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner!

Prayers for you, our new friend.

Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai
