Marcus Grodi's television program called me and invited me to be interviewed on Monday December 16. I don't know if I can convince them to come to our Church for the interview or if I will be going to Irondale. In either event, pray that some will come home because of the Holy Spirit's work through this interview.

Please, also pray for me as I lead a team presenting ideas for debt freedom and financial independence to several of the families of our Church at a seminar at our Church Sunday, October 20. Pray that many will find freedom and be able to become good stewards of God's money. Pray that this might be used for evangelization as well.

Dear Dan,

A double attaboy to you!! smile

May your financial seminar be blessed and fruitful.

I do hope they come to your Church. From the website it looks fabulous. Maybe if you have to go to Alabama, you can borrow St. George's Melkite Church for a little show and tell.

Either way, may your TV appearance educate our Latin brethren.

I will pray and ask for the intercession of St. John Chrysostom. That your tongue maybe just as golden.

Anthony,

I don't know yet whether the show is broadcast live or not. It's hard to tell. When I find out I will let everyone know. All of these efforts, through EWTN and through my new business/apostolate are in gratitude to a Church that really is like heaven to me.

I spoke with Father Loya about the possibility of combining the diaconate with the three areas I am most passionate about: teaching, evangelism, and stewardship. After discussing the matter in depth he things this is a wonderful first step, though he still thinks I should see the priesthood as a step beyond this.

Keep me in your prayers.

I hope that the gathering last Sunday went well. May God bless you, and your work for God's people.

Dear Dan,

When one sets out on a challenging journey, it is good to remember that the way to walk is take one step at a time, but do keep going if that is where you are called to go. You will be in my prayers.

Have a Blessed Journey !!!

Thank you, Pilgrim.

Hieromonk,

Thanks for asking. We had five families attend our seminar and four sign up for a Financial Needs Analysis. I think we will be able to help most of them. Also, Father gave a glowing affirmation at the end of the seminar and asked us to offer this seminar at our anual planning retreat which includes a large number of our members.

Dear Dan,
As a person who watches the Journey Home Frequently, I thought I could let you know as what you might expect. The whole program, which is filmed live, is about on hour in length. The first part is basically when you give your testimony which basically covers your religous upbringing and what made you consider the Catholic Church. The second part is a Q and A session where people will call you with different questions. Also Marcus will usually discuss with you beforehand as to what the theme of the program will be. I hope this will help. I am looking forward to that program. Please let us know if there are any changes. I will be praying for you.

Dear Dan,

Congratulations!

I pray that your testimony to the beauty that you have found leads others to join you. May you and your apostolates be blessed.
