Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

I would just like to thank you all for your prayers up to this point and for your continuing intercession. I received a disbursement check from a retirement account that I forgot about which will go a long way in helping my climb out of financial debt. Last week, I started a novena to our Mother of Perpetual Help and yesterday my prayers were answered in the form on a hefty check that was a TOTAL surprise. Please join me in thanking our Lady for her intercession and thanking God for His great mercy!

In Christ,
mikey.

Dear Mikey,

When you pray in your moment of greatest need, try praying for two hours continously.

And then remember me when you come into your kingdom! smile

Again, i am amazed at how some people can't see the workings of prayer and the intercession of the Saints in the lives of individuals. This case is but one visible example of how this works in one way.

I am so happy for you, Mikey! May God Grant you Many Years!

Brian,

I was speaking with a good friend of mine this weekend (who is on his way to being a deacon in the Episcopal church) about how blind some people are. His basement flooded and managed to ruin alot of old papers, magazines, etc but, miraculously, did not touch the expensive guitars and amplifiers in the corner. Indeed, it seemed as if the water was kept back from that corner.

We got to talking of another friend of ours who was all ready to ship out to boot camp and, ostensibly the Middle East, but broke his back sled riding a week before his departure date. Yes, he broke his back, but he actually could walk and even went skateboarding later. A few days after that, his back still hurt, so he went to his doctor who said, "Son, you should have been WHEELED in here...". After thinking, our friend realized that perhaps something far above him was keeping him out of the military.

My deacon-candidate friend then said, "Some people are just too damned blind to see such things as acts of God working in our daily lives..."

Indeed!

Dear Mikey:

Miracles do happen!

And what you recently experienced is just one in a series in your own lifetime.

Dear Mikey,

Just remember that more good fortune comes toward those who share what they have already! smile

God be praised!
