Peace to those who worship the Christ Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment.... and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion. -Thich Nhat Hanh- Words can travel thousands of miles. May my words create mutual understanding and love. May they be as beautiful as gems, as lovely as flowers. -TNH- May all of us, Christian or Buddhist, honor the Nazarene, by being: A guide for those who have lost their way, A lamp for those without light, A place of refuge for those who lack shelter, And a servant to all in need. Happy Easter to the Christian brethren.

Am I on the wrong planet or what? Did someone knock me out of my orbit? Have I been sucked into a worm hole?

Dear Soul Searcher:

I also want to thank you for your Easter Greeting. I appreciate that you wish to live fully each day. The Lord Jesus Christ taught "I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance." Jn 10:10. Later He taught that He Himself is the "Resurrection and the Life." May your search lead you to a greater knowledge and experience of Him who is Life.

Peace to you!!

Sorry Joe for throwing you out of orbit. That is a bad habit I just can't seem to shake. And right before Easter! I feel like such a jerk. Thank you Gordo and Pav for your kind remarks and the scripture reference. I assume both of you are Greek Catholics. If I can ever overcome my agnosticism(I doubt that very much) I will put my Buddhist practice and "faith" behind me and return to the Greek Catholic Church. I have been Orthodox Greek and Catholic Greek and my heart would resonate more sweetly to the Spirit in the Catholic Church. There is so much good within Orthodoxy but that goodness is tarnished and distorted by the narrowness of a ghetto mentality. Not for me! This open window (or windows!)..on the East and West...Yes!That's right!...the "diabolical West"..is a great gift from God that is uniquely "ours"(I unfortunately can't say that for myself)-"yours"-and it is probably not appreciated. Take care and Peace.

Soulsearcher,

You are certainly in my prayers. I've been thinking about your title: Soulsearcher. You may be a soul which seeks and searches, but it is God who is truly the searcher of souls. He, being everywhere present and filling all things, knows us better than we do ourselves. I pray that you would participate in the rites of the coming Great and Holy Week. Attend the beautiful services, go there as a soul that searches, and the Lord who searches your soul will fill you.

In Christ,

Pado
