Although it's been a while, it feels just like yesterday when October 16th comes around. After my father died, I continued to speak with him in prayer, asking him to forgive me all my wrongs toward him etc. I also asked him to help me find a job. A year later, after finishing school, I landed a job and the contract was finalized on . . . October 16. This day is also the 17th year in that same job. Alex

Yes, I prayed for dad all day yesterday and a tremendously wonderful and deep peace took hold of me. It was as if he was walking with me and I could feel his presence around me. We don't pray enough for the dead and certainly our good God blesses us with His surprise gifts when we do. Alex
