And I have to admit, it's been way toooo long since I remember what it looks like, so my memory is foggy. So please help me refresh my memory. Thank you all in advance for your help. I appreciate it. Fr Mark Member Registered: 05/10/02 Posts: 780 Loc: Wales	The soldier's cross IS a perfectly acceptable Old Believers Cross. There is no sole cross that is insisted upon by Old Believers. As long as the design agrees with iconographic canons, the cross is acceptable. Spasi Khristos - mark, monk and sinner.

The cross I have, which is more like the Soldiers Cross from Gallery Byzantium, has Psalm 67 on the back in Slavonic, was given to me by an Old Rite friend who told me it was indeed Staroviery. It is exactly the same but doesn't have the ornate circular bordering, only the cross with the same iconography.
