So, Chavez can come to our country and make a speech calling Pres. Bush the devil, and how after he left he could smell the sulphur. Oh and he invited the U.N. to move to Venezuela...where I guess the people are living so well with all his oil and stuff. Why is he sounding so much like that other fella, the one from Iran? That Ahmanadinijad, or whatever the guys name is. As for me, anyone that would even appear with him, or accept a penny from him, I consider a traitor. Zenovia

Zenovia Yeah when he was on the podium and said all that...he made a sign of the cross and kind of shuddered (because Bush was in the room the day before). Crazy! SPDundas Deaf Byzantine

No they won't. Due to the UN. Iran's progress in developing nuclear weapons has been stopped by the threats of UN sanctions. The Iranian scientists are unable to continue their work due to the fact that they are rolling on the floor laughing.

Try this. Try to look at the reasons people like Chavez say crazy things and not the verbatim of what they say.
Also, read the recent speach by the Iranian President; you may be surprised. Oh yeah, corporate media only choose certain phrases which make him look like an evil villain.
Commercial break: Buy this SUV and you'll be the sexiest in the neighborhood and no other soccer mom's will push you around!
Am I on their side? No, but I realize that the corporate media slants things for a reason.
We Americans, Arabs, Israelis, Serbs, Albanians, etc. really need to stop feigning innocence and engage in some serious introspection. As long as everyone is and has always been "right" nothing's going to change for the better.
When you're a Fascist, you call the other guys Fascists. It works. And BTW, Fascism is the marriage of corporate interests with government. It is not simply fanaticism. There are some nations that fit the definition of Fascism; you might be able to discern which ones do if you turn off the sound and look at the actions.
Good trees have good fruit; bad trees don't.
We have to be careful when listening to "news" and the spokespeople of governments. Language is a powerful tool and we need to carefully dissect it in order to obtain full understanding.

Dear Arberesh, I can't make sense of what you are saying. Forgetting the 'bad guys' the corporations, what could Ahmanabinijad say, (don't know if the spelling is correct), that would make any sense. You know if someone is rediculous in one thing they say, then how can you pay attention to anything they say? What did he say that was rediculous? He said he loved everybody. Yet he was sending in fighters into Iraq to kill Sunni civilians. The same thing is true for the Hezbollah leader. He has claimed victory in Lebanon, yet he claimed that victory in a place that's been bombed into the stone age. He won't mention how many Hezbollah fighters have died, (no doubt pretending they were civilians), and then brags over how many civilians he's killed in Israel. In the mean time he's hiding out of fear for his life, but claims victory when Europe and America told Israel to stop the bombing out of our own concern for the Lebanese civilians. A concern that he himself didn't have for his own people. Do you find any logic in that? Then there is Chavez. He's helping the poor in this nation with the belief that he will cause internal strife in this country, yet what about the poor in his own country? So much for him.
