I found this looking for an icon of the Honey Saviour...oh well I am still looking But I havn't stopped to check out the site, but the topics look really good. So let me know St. Anne began a monthly education event in September, 2003, called "Third Saturday." It meets at the Church and offers education for all ages. The hallmark of this event is the equipping of members of the Church for the ongoing education of themselves and their families. At each session materials are distributed to the adult class, providing study guides for use by individuals, couples and families for Orthodox Christian education in the home. St. John Chrysostom taught that the home is a "little Church." It is certainly that, and, as such, one of the primary locations for the teaching of the faith. Each series in the Third Saturday event offers a look at Scripture, the teaching of the Fathers, and Orthodox Tradition and customs in the home and Church on a given topic or related subjects. http://www.stanneorthodoxchurch.org/Education/past3sat.htm

The church in question is a simply wonderful Orthodox church, and I count myself one of the luckiest people on the planet to have it located a scant mile from my home. Since the nearest Byzantine Catholic church is over an hour away, I actually spend more time at this particular Orthodox parish than at my "proper" church. Both of the parish's priests have Catholic brothers, and thus are very accepting of Catholics worshipping at their church. For those who are interested, some of the pastor's writings can be found here .
