This is a good example of the kinds of things one can do in home based groups. This kind of study puts the Scriptures on a practical level for everyone. Combine studies like this with vespers and Agape. Soon leadership for two other such groups develops then the two becmes four. Invite a priest out for a liturgy, do some door to door visitation and invite friends and neighbors, stir with much intense pray, and the next thing you know one has a mission.

In principle it is not difficult but it takes dedication.

BTW Whole Bible editions exist using this principle. The ones I'm familiar with have a Protestant flavor but there ought to be some Catholic or Orthodox version.
