Does anyone have music in Galician chant for the Great Saturday "Jerusalem" Matins Troparia "The Noble Joseph," "When You Descended" and "The Angel at the Tomb"? It can be in English, Slavonic or Ukrainian--I'm not picky! Thanks! Dave

Glory to Jesus Christ!
Dear Mr. Chtec!
I have this in Slavonic and in English with notation. If you will contact me at chantermt@aol.com with your fax number, I will gladly send you both.

Look at the Irmologion of L'viv, among the sessional troparia of Tone 2.
The longer version of this melody is very widely known, because it was adopted by the Russians, exclusively for Holy Friday/Saturday; they become quite upset if it is sung on any other occasion. The Galician books supplementary to the Irmologion (Dol’nyc’kyj, Polotnjuk, Fedoriv, Osthajm-Dzerovyc’) have a shorter version that serves also as the melody for the podoben Vysnich isca, and will be found among the podobny of Tone 2.

The Russians also use that melody for the Burial Service of the Holy Theotokos. It's quite effective.
