I would agree that pronunciation and stress varies among individuals. For example, my wife speaks Russian and I speak Polish. Since she speaks an Eastern Slavic language and I speak a Western Slavic language, our Church Slavonic differs.

While this topic is of interest to some cantors, it is also of interest to a wider audience. I am transferring it to the Faith & Worship forum as well. There, users will also find a topic about the Jesus prayer in slavonic. Interested parties will be able to continue discussion on the Faith and Worship Forum, but the topic becomes closed within Kliros.
