I was browsing around and I found this website. I believe this choir is a group of seminarians from Slovakia. Two members of the choir are seminarians who stayed at my parish for some time this summer. I hope this link works. Enjoy! http://www.gojdic.sk/download/ -Katie g

This is the first time I ever heard this style of chant. It it "Gallician" ? it reminds me a bit of some Georgian chanting. It is very different from the other chanting I have heard from further south eastern mediterranean. This "slovakian chant" seems more festive and exubherant...is this a cultural view or a universal view ? I do not know.
