See the threads "Cantor introductions" and "A place for cantors to talk about their ministry". Kliros is not totally restricted to cantors, but topics and discussions have to pertain to their work specifically. Go to other topic areas for broader discussions. Additionally, some comments posted on Kliros have been viewed by the community as offensive or inflammatory, so they were removed.

Pavel, Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory Forever!
Just this week, the Moderators had an offline discussion on this very topic. I shared my feeling that, while we must maintain a charitable and Christian tone in the conversations on this Forum, we should not edit/delete posts simply because they express positions that are "controversial."
Some of the best ideas and discussions start when people have the courage to challenge the status quo or "ruffle some feathers;" canidly, it makes for interesting reading as well.
While the terms "offensive" or "inflammatory" can be somewhat subjective, I do believe that the Moderators of this Forum do act with good intentions when moving, editing, or removing posts from contributors - and hope that we will continue to do so in the future.
