Dear Friends,

Prof. William Storey has outdone himself in his book "The Complete Rosary" by Ignatius Press!

In addition to his scholarly review of the history of the rosary, he provides what could be called a "liturgical framework for a rosary service."

Inspired by historical methods of celebrating the "Psalter of the Mother of God," this former Methodist/Anglican, and now a Catholic liturgics professor, introduces each decade with a scriptural reading followed by ten "Hail Mary" scripture tags to be placed after the Name of Christ in the Hail Mary.

There is a collect after each decade and for each set of mysteries.

Believe me, when you start with his method, the rosary becomes an ADVENTURE! You will not want to put his book down and it is the best aid to praying the rosary I've yet to see.

He also provides an excellent method for having a rosary service at a Wake for those who have this tradition - for others, it is an excellent way of praying the rosary for the reposed.

He also provides the text for the "Golden Rosary" or a set of 50 meditations of the Lives of Christ and His Mother that was popular in the Middle Ages.

Those who love the rosary/rule of the Theotokos can all raise their voices in a unified "Thank you Professor Storey" to the author of this magnificent book!

Alex
