His Grace, Bishop Job (OSACKY), notes:
“The crisis facing our Church today is not theological; it is one of ecclesiology and how we have failed to live it, it is one of proper administration.”

---------

Is the recasted Ruthenian Divine Liturgy a sign of a greater theological crisis in our Church, a sign that we have failed in large part to live and experience the fullness of our Eastern Christian spiritual heritage?

Somehow, I think that the OCAs Bishop Job is speaking about problems within the OCA itself concerning financial reporting and accountability there- not liturgy.

Jim,

I just thought it is interesting how two churches that owe much to the Carpatho-Rusyn Greek Catholic Church -- the BCC and the OCA -- are facing a crisis.

His Grace, Bishop Job's remark got me thinking ... hence my post.

Seems like the Eastern Christian Churches in general are at a turning point.

In Christ,

John

I hope not, as I'm about to convert the OCA. I hope nothing changes there...

You've managed to convert the whole lot of them? Astounding! biggrin

(In all actuality, I wish you well on your journey. The simple typo made for an amusing thought during such heavy times.)
