Okay.

My question:

The new liturgical abominations are all in place and we, as a parish, have been instructed to chant in the PC all-inclusive language.

Am I in the sin of rebellion if I refuse to go along with this nonsense? At what point do I have a legitimate beef and at what point am I being a rebel? Is there a time and a place to oppose a bishop -- something I am very very concerned and hesitant about knowing God's respect for hierarcy and authority.

I see this as just one more slippery slope. You know, it's the old story of the frog and boiling water. The evil one never slaps you upside the head with evil. Nooooooooooooo...he just gives you a very very tiny taste....just enough to make you think it's not so bad and after all, we should keep up with the times, and we really shouldn't make anyone "feel bad" when they are at worship.......

Yada yada yada ............ and then one day you wake up and you no longer have the beautiful Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. No, you have

EASTERN NOVUS ORDO GARBAGE!!!

Full force!!!

Now if you can prove to me that I'm wrong and that in 100 years we will still have a beautiful and reverent Liturgy, I'll apologize right now.

But I don't thin so, Lucy!!!

Brother Ed -- sick, just sick at my stomach about this.

Perhaps you should dicuss this with your confessor or spiritual director.

And perhaps your MD can assist with any ulcers.

Is the new liturgical text now officially in use?

Just wondering...

Rebellion is not always a sin.
