Our priest, Rt. Rev. Frank J. Milienewicz, is in ICU with a bleeding ulcer, he has received 4 pints of blood so far today. Please keep him in your prayers.

So the Fr. Deacons Seraphim and Stan are giving Tipika for the services that started this morning - three total. Msgr. Richard Sadd of St. Elias Marionite Church consecrated the Eucharist for us this morning during their Liturgy, so the deacons had it for the Tipikas. It is amazing how God pulls his Body together and makes provision to feed his flock.

Glory to God!

May the Lord God grant his priestly servant Frank, healing and health, and restore him quickly to his service. Many years!

Thank You!

They are keeping him in ICU and I guess they will do more testing tomorrow. At least he is where he is cared for. Being Polish,I can say that cuz' I'm married to a Polish for almost 38 years now, Father sure can be stubborn. biggrin At least now he has to listen and is getting the care and help he needs.

Prayers for my friend and brother, Father Archimandrite Frank. May the Unmercenary Physicians Cosmas and Damien guide his care-givers in their diagnosis and treatment of Abouna; may this gentle, joyful, giant of a man be quickly restored to health and to his priestly ministry and may God grant him many years.

Prayers, too, for my brothers and sisters of Saint George's, and especially for Deacons Seraphim and Stan, that they be granted strength in these hours of deprivation from their spiritual father.

Glory to God! Abouna is home!!!

I guess the problem was his blood thiner. It caused him to be really anemic - it took six pints of blood to get him back to normal.

When they say to check your blood thiner every thirty days they mean just that!

Thank you all for your prayers. He is much better, but has many health problems including neuropathy in his feet, so your continued prayers are appreciated.
