For those cantors (and cantor understudies, like me) having the music online to go along with the people's book is a blessing.

For those of you that want to download the MP3's and do not want to fool with "right click / save as" for all 450 something MP3's, you may want to give the program I'm using a try.

The program is web-ripper. You can point it to a webpage and it'll grab EVERYTHING from it. It can chase links, run up and down directory structures, etc.

I am using it against the MCI's website for just the /recording/divine liturgies folder (they have directory listing enabled on the server) and I have an automated job that is mining all the Mp3's from it down to my local harddrive.

When it finishes, I'm going to transfer them to a data cd so I can listen to them in the car. (My car radio can play Mp3's straight from a data cd).

Download Web-Ripper Here

Dear Crule,

While the recordings are certainly meant to be used, it would be better if you actually purchased a set of CDs, since the price for all seven if about what you would pay for a single classical or pop music CD. (I made the file directory available for browsing, and really didn't intend that it it should be used for mass file ripping.) Ordering information can be found in this thread.

Yours in Christ,
Jeff

The 7 CD set is only something like $10, which is a wonderful blessing!
