Brethren in Risen Christ,

In the second day of the Holy Pascha, this soul, accompanied by his mother, and other three souls, drove (!) to the Holy Monastery Tudor Vladimirescu (Vladimiresti), with the yearly feast (hram) on the 15th of August, Dormition of Most Holy Mother of God. It is situated in the Galati county, Romania. In this county, in Galati city, I live, by God's mercy.

I had certainly a silly head, because I forgot to charge the batteries of my camera, but I succeeded to take a few images from this monastery.

If you want, look.

1. Path to monastery

The lady with the yellow bag is my mother, going with steady steps to the monastery's Church.

2. Church - Southern side - 1

3. Church - Southern side - 2

4. Souls staying in line for lighting candles

5. Church - interior - 1

6. Church - interior - 2

7. Monastery's yard - Northern side - and a patient tree

8. Church - Western side - Entrance

Hristos a inviat! Adevarat a inviat!

May God anoint your hearts with the dew of His mercy, and fill your souls with Light and Eternal Life, any hidden wound be healed, any sorrow be comforted. Amin!

In Risen Christ,

Marian+, your Orthodox brother,

at mercy of God

Dear Marian,

Christos Anesti! Alithos Anesti!

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos! It seems that spring has come earlier for you than for me--your trees have turned green and mine are still dead. frown

The monastery, inside and out is beautiful.

How wonderful to see so many young people there to venerate.

I hope that you had a relaxing and prayerful day. May God bless you and your family. smile

With love in the Risen Christ,
Alice

Dear Sister Alice, in Risen Christ,

Xristos anesti! Alithos anesti!

Yep, I truly had a relaxing day, a very meditative and prayerful one. This soul prayed for many souls, both from Romania, Italia, Greece, UK, and the large U.S.A., from New York to Washington state, from Alabama and Georgia, to Northern Dakota, from Ciudad de Mexico, through Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, until the far Toronto. May God bless you all!

Dear Marian,

Thank you for posting the pictures of the monastery. They are breathtaking, and you know the sun reminds me of Greece. You didn't tell us how old the monastery is? Is the architecture typical of Roumanian Church architecture, or is the style Turkish...or maybe medieval Italian? smile I think I've seen something similar in old pictures of Florence. I'm very curious about it... especially the roof.

God Bless,

Zenovia

The main Church was built between 1941 and 1943, the painting is in a Neo-Byzantine style.

The architecture of the Church is a typical one for the Churches built in Moldavia, the historical region of Romania, which I live in. From what I know this unique Moldavian style is the result of many centuries. However, with very clear Byzantine influence: shape of Cross etc, and also Gothic. This latter style influenced the architecture in Moldavia beginning with the 14th century.

God bless you, sister Zenovia. Xristos anesti!

Today I was tried much by God. Despite my today very rough ordeal, I have peace in my soul, for Christ is with me.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me a sinner. Amin.

If you want, keep me in prayer. I do the same. Thank you.

In Risen Christ,

Marian+

Dear Marian,

Thanks for sharing the photos. The icons on the exterior of the church are truly beautiful, especially all the different ones of the Theotokos under the eaves. The interior of the church looks to be breathtaking.

Christ is risen!

This soul visited again the Holy Monastery Tudor Vladimirescu, monastery of nuns, and add more photos. I will not comment any of them, just look and understand, my brethren, it is about ways. The photos are taken at the dusk. Please, I suggest you to see them all. Patience.

Christ is Risen!

Thank you for your prayers, very soon, after ordering papers and some aspects of my store, I go to hospital, for I cannot more and the disease dug much into my body.

God have mercy upon this world. Amin. Mercy of God is best.

Dear Marian,

Thank you for the lovely photos....

The monastery is beautiful and well taken care of and tended to...I can sense the calm aura there.

Let us know what day you are going to hospital.

Be well.
