As I peruse this area of ByzCath I am saddened. I realize this is an important topic. I also realize it is a contentious topic for many (though certainly not all) and that emotions are involved here.

Do you realize that the Administrators have had to lock at least one thread per page (on average) in this forum since it was opened? That's a lot of locked topics. More, I think, than I have ever seen on this forum in the slightly more than two years that I've been lurking and participating.

Perhaps we should all pray more and type less giving our brains a chance to really consider what we are about to say before we say it.

I will pray for all who participate in this forum and who are affected by this revision.

Dear Carole, Christ is Risen!

Thank you for your prayers, not only for the members of the forum but for all who are affected. It would be a wonderful thing that anyone posting on this section/subforum take your suggestion a step further, and that is to pray before they compose their post. Maybe then God will direct their words and emotions will be better tempered.

Might I suggest all who post in this section do that.

Again, thank you.

I agree, but you do realize that Liturgy can be a very emotional topic.

Christ is Risen!

Yes, all the more reason to pray before posting! smile
