There was a loss of power to the computer system that hosts this website on Sunday morning, January 3, 1999, from approximately 5 AM until 11 AM ET due to a severe ice storm in the mid-Atlantic United States.

Messages posted are not being displayed but they have not been lost. If this is the only post in this section the problem still exists. Try setting your "Show topics for 30 days" or whatever your default is to 1 year and then back to 30 days to clear the problem.

Several people have sent e-mail indicating that they are unable to either access the site or to post messages. If you have had problems please let us know - it may be necessary to delete your profile so that you can re-register before you can post again.

Please be patient while we reinstall the necessary scripts to fix the problem.

Thanks!
