There is a near-capacity bus coming for Friday evening and Saturday from AZ, including Melkites as well. I'm looking forward to it, especially since Bishop John Botean is to ordain Fr. Maximos to the priesthood, and Fr. Moses to the diaconate, and Sister Anastasia from Holy Theophany Monastery in Olympia, WA, is to be tonsured, becoming Mother Anastasia.

May God grant many healthy and blessed years in His service to Fathers Maximos and Moses and Sister Anastasia.

Would love to be with Bishop John-Michael and the gathering that day. But it's rather a hike from Dublin, so I'll have to make do by praying for God's blessing on the pilgrimage and all who rejoice at it.

Axios!

Congratulations and blessings to Fr. Maximos on his ordination to the holy prisethood!

Axios!

Congratulations and blessings to Fr. Moses on his ordination to the holy diaconate!

Axios!

Congratulations and blessings to Mother Anastasia on her being tonsured as mother superior of Holy Theophany Monastery.

May God grant them many years!

What a wonderful milestone for Abbot Nicholas and the monks of Holy Resurrection Monastery during its tenth year.

I attended the ordination liturgy this past Saturday and it was a wonderful experience to see so many Catholics from the different liturgical traditions all together for this event. Also attending were monks from nearby Saint Antony Coptic Orthodox Monastery.

I was very pleased to read that there was a good attendance at the monastery over the weekend. Now we can look forward to the photos coming online soon?

I'm working on some photos soon to be posted. It was quite a weekend! Very much a family affair as these pilgrimages often are. Quite joyous and prayerful, starting with the tonsure of Mother Anastasia at Vespers on Friday and the ordinations of Fr Maximos to the priesthood and Fr Moses to Diaconate during Divine Liturgy Saturday morning followed later that evening for Great Vespers. On Sunday, their first Matins & Divine Liturgy for Frs Maximos and Moses as ordained priest and deacon.

It was quite a weekend of celebration also marking HRM's 10th anniversary.

I'll try to set up a mirror site that hopefully won't get blocked. I thought Yahoo.com would have worked better being so common....
